Surprise! We’re pumpkin spicing up this year’s DASH and moving up our annual fun run. So lace up those sneakers, start warming up and join us in just a few weeks in Pioneer Meadow East in Golden Gate Park

  • The Burke’s DASH is one of our community’s most beloved events. So why wait until May for some outdoor fun? This year, we’re all about the fall foliage, crisp air and hot apple cider! The 2021-2022 DASH will take place in-person on Sunday, November 7 from 8:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. in Golden Gate Park. 

  • DASH two miles! In keeping with our fun run tradition, participants will tackle a set two-mile course (check back for the course route!) in Golden Gate Park, complete with a start and finish line. Not a runner? Don’t worry. We encourage our community to come walk, jog or cheer folks on (with masks on, of course).

  • Make the podium! DASH is a timed race. Medals will be awarded on race day to top finishers in the following categories: Upper School, Lower School, Parents/Faculty and Siblings.

  • Registration is required. To participate, please register via this link. The registration fee is $15/adult and $10/child. All registrants will receive a T-shirt, branded headband and race bib. Packet pick-up will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 2 during school drop-off and pick-up. Details to follow.

  • (Safely) gather for post-run refreshments. With safety in mind, the pancake breakfast will need to wait until next year. But there will be plenty of hot and cold beverages and post-race snacks for participating families to enjoy.

  • Want to help? We’ll need at least 30 volunteers to make the race day magic happen. Please click here to sign-up  if you’re interested in helping with race day set-up, course monitoring, on-site medical assistance and/or pack-up pickup.
